New Features for Spring 2026

This Spring, we are introducing two major platform enhancements designed to provide instructors with greater flexibility and give students deeper insight into their investment decisions.

Assignments Engine Update

Our largest upgrade this semester is a complete rebuild of the Assignments Engine.
The new system delivers a more powerful, flexible, and scalable experience for instructors, with enhancements that include:

  • Improved assignment editing, allowing updates at any time without disrupting student progress
  • Substantially higher limits on the number of tasks within an assignment
  • Unlimited assignments per class, supporting modular and highly structured course designs
  • Variable retry settings that replace the previous “none or infinite” model
  • Full time-zone support for accurately timed start and end dates
  • Multi-language compatibility, including French and Spanish
  • Enhanced reporting, especially for large classes and multi-section courses

These updates reflect a complete modernization of the Assignments Engine and set the stage for continued scalability in future releases.

Introducing the Wealth Wizard AI Assistant

We are also launching the Wealth Wizard, a classroom-safe AI companion integrated into the Stock Game. The Wealth Wizard is designed to help students:

  • Select their first trades using structured prompts
  • Better understand diversification and risk exposure
  • Interpret performance trends within their portfolios
  • Learn the types of questions investors ask when making decisions

The Wealth Wizard does not accept open-ended text input. Instead, students interact through predefined prompts, ensuring a safe and guided learning experience that supports financial literacy without compromising classroom controls.

Additional Enhancements

Alongside these two major releases, instructors and students will also benefit from a wide range of smaller improvements across the platform, including:

  • Updates to the lesson library
  • General usability enhancements
  • Bug fixes and performance refinements

These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to improving both instructional workflows and student engagement.

We look forward to supporting your Spring 2026 classes and hope these new tools enrich your teaching experience.
